Pit Riewer

Pit Riewer graduated in painting from the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp (BE) in 2022 and now lives and works in Luxembourg. His artistic work often focuses on fleeting moments, using incomplete or altered photographic references that he reinterprets with his own pictorial language. With a deep interest in abstraction, his paintings explore the intermediate zone between classical representation and abstraction, highlighting the emotional impact of colours and the gesture of the brush.

He is the laureate of the Prix Revelation at the Salon du CAL 2023.
