Claudia Passeri

Claudia Passeri lives and works between Luxembourg and Italy. She studied design and photography in Bologna, Brussels and Rome. Her work is regularly shown in Europe and the United States. She founded the curatorial projects Agence Borderline (2006) and Common Wealth (2018). In 2011, she won the Edward Steichen Award Luxembourg, which led to a residency at the ISCP in New York. In 2016, she was awarded the Focuna Fellowship which gave her access to a research residency at the Darling Foundry in Montreal, as well as the Bert-Theis Fellowship in 2018, allowing her to create an artist residency in Umbria. Her work has been exhibited at Mudam Luxembourg, BOZAR, Frac Lorraine, the Centres d'Arts de Dudelange, Casino Luxembourg - Forum d'art contemporain, Galerie Nosbaum Reding and the Rencontres de la Photographie d'Arles, among others.

Claudia Passeri will revive at the Bridderhaus a performative and writing work initiated in 2017. “Les Papillons de resistance” is organised around a table d'hôtes, where the artist will prepare collective meals.
